Among the many new features, the zone will showcase Made of Light. The Art of Light and Architecture. Seen for the first time in the Middle East, the exhibition and education programme, conceived and designed by multi-award winning and world renowned lighting architects Speirs and Major Associates. UK-based Speirs and Major Associates is responsible for numerous prestigious projects throughout the region, including the award winning lighting of the Burj Al Arab.

Originally launched at the Royal Institute of British Architects in London, Made of Light is an international touring exhibition which provides a visually stunning experience that aims to inspire, excite and educate, architects, interior designers, landscape designers, and the wider public.

A seminar programme running throughout the duration of Install Middle East will include a day of 'Architainment Masterclasses', given by some of the world's most renowned lighting experts.

Introduced this year in recognition of the growing use of architectural lighting as an integral feature of developments taking place across the Middle East, the Architectural Lighting and Interior Illumination Zone provides the opportunity to see at first hand the latest product innovations and applications for exterior and interior illumination. From architectural lighting, to the latest LED technology, the Zone is a must-visit.

Install Middle East takes place at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from the 20th to 22nd May, under the umbrella of the PALME Show, and is the region's only showcase of audio-visual installation and integration technologies and applications, for residential and commercial environments.
